Here we go again…

We are putting out place up for sale…again.

The time has come. My husband is near the end of his recruitment process and we are wanting to unload our home.

It’s too small and I don’t want to get stuck where I am when (if) he gets called for training.

That means we rented a storage space and a bunch of our furniture and miscellaneous stuff is tucked away in storage. Those who have been here before wouldn’t recognize the place if they saw it now. It’s clean, spacious, tidy and open.

We are putting a new counter top in the kitchen first thing tomorrow morning. That will change the look of the whole kitchen I am sure. I’ll post pics when it’s all done.

I have also been buying little accessories to spruce up the place and make it look more “grown up.”

When I bought a new vase for the bathroom I ended up altering my colour scheme. So I had to create a new canvas for that new colour scheme.

The green, gold and brown play off of the new vase and the beige matches my shower curtains.

I also bought a very inexpensive blue rug for the entrance that matches my blue wicker chair and helps to pull the room together a bit better.

We are going to great lengths to get this place showing well. We are really hoping for a quick sale.

Even if my husband doesn’t get called out in the next two to four months we will still be wanting out of this place.

This place is much too small and the financial burden (during this period of instability) is getting very tiresome. If we could sell we could move in with my husband’s folks (on their farm) and have some time to figure out our next steps…for better or for worse.

For example, I did work today. But it was a one day contract and I am back to waiting for work. I am supposed to start something more permanent on April 12th but I haven’t received confirmation of the assignment yet. It’s very stressful when your bills keep coming but the work is just not there!
