Adventures in Unschooling

Putting practice, donut making and random acts of piracy.

Posted on: February 4, 2009

I decided to update Trey’s pirate outfit. He wanted a pirate shirt this morning so I decided to see what was sitting in my closet collecting dust.

We also made homemade donuts today. They aren’t as satisfying as store bought ones but I am still searching for the right recipe. I think this one has too much butter. 😦

I was trying to do my dishes because I need some counter space to make falafel and hummus for supper but Anna needed a cuddle so…bloggin’ time!

The boys also pulled out their golf stuff and put in a bit of putting practice today.

The only other thing I am excited enough to share with you is that I bought my husband a little surprise.

I found this baby on ebay for fairly inexpensive:

It’s a Tiffin lunch box. It all clamps together and as you can see it has a nice handle. It’s all stainless steel too. I doubt that it is leak-proof but there is no reason why it should be getting bumped around and tipped over. How cool is this baby. I have been trying to buy locally but it is hard to find locally and the only place I found that has it is charging so much!
